We regret to announce the passing of long-serving member and former President (2001–2004), Mrs Betty Adam, who passed away peacefully on 8 February after a short illness.
Betty was a formidable Association Croquet player and a highly respected instructor of the code. Many of our newer AC players will remember her patience, precision and unmistakable enthusiasm on the court, and the recent growth in AC participation at the Club owes much to her mentoring and encouragement.
Betty celebrated her centenary on 23 October 2022, surrounded by family and friends.
She will be remembered not only for her skill and leadership but for her encouragement of new players. Our thoughts are with her family and friends.
